Privacy Policy for SimpleWorkout

SimpleWorkout respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the SimpleWorkout mobile application processes, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information You Enter Into SimpleWorkout

SimpleWorkout allows you to enter and store information related to your workouts, nutrition, body weight, and fitness goals. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

  • Age

  • Biological sex

  • Height

  • Body weight and weight history

  • Daily calorie and macronutrient targets

  • Food and nutrition information

  • Workout history

  • Exercise sets, repetitions, and weights

  • Strength and estimated one-repetition maximum (1RM) information

  • Workout plans and templates

  • Fitness-related settings and preferences

This information is used to provide the app's workout tracking, nutrition tracking, strength estimation, workout programming, and related features.

2. Data Collection

SimpleWorkout does not currently collect or transmit your personal information to us.

The app does not require an account, login, or registration. Information you enter into SimpleWorkout is processed and stored locally on your device.

SimpleWorkout does not currently use:

  • Advertising networks

  • Analytics services

  • Third-party tracking tools

  • Third-party crash-reporting services

  • Cloud-based user accounts

  • HealthKit

  • CloudKit

  • Social media tracking

  • Third-party data brokers

SimpleWorkout does not sell your personal information.

3. Local Data Storage

Your workout, nutrition, body-weight, strength, and preference data is stored locally on your device using Apple's application storage technologies.

SimpleWorkout does not operate its own cloud synchronization or online storage service.

Your device may include SimpleWorkout data as part of backups performed by iOS, iCloud Backup, or another backup method you have configured. Those backups are managed by you and Apple according to your device and Apple account settings.

4. Notifications

SimpleWorkout may request permission to send local notifications for features such as workout rest timers.

These notifications are generated on your device. SimpleWorkout does not use a remote notification service to send marketing or promotional notifications.

You may control notification permissions at any time through your device's iOS Settings.

5. Fitness, Nutrition, and Strength Estimates

SimpleWorkout includes calculators and estimates related to fitness, calories, macronutrients, strength, and one-repetition maximums.

These features are provided for general informational and fitness-tracking purposes. Calculated values are estimates and may not accurately reflect your individual nutritional needs, strength, fitness level, or physical condition.

SimpleWorkout is not a medical application and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

You should use appropriate judgment when exercising and consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional when appropriate.

6. Children's Privacy

Some calculation features within SimpleWorkout, including the calorie-target calculator and profile-based strength estimator, are designed for adults age 18 and older.

SimpleWorkout does not knowingly operate a service designed to collect personal information from children, and because the app does not transmit user-entered information to us, we do not receive children's personal information through the application.

Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether use of the app is appropriate for a minor.

7. Data Sharing

SimpleWorkout does not currently transmit your workout, nutrition, body-weight, strength, or profile data to us or to third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Because SimpleWorkout stores its data locally on your device, your data remains on the device until you delete individual records, delete the application, erase the device, or otherwise remove the application's stored data.

Deleting the SimpleWorkout application from your device may remove locally stored application data, subject to any device or cloud backups you have configured.

9. Internet Connectivity

SimpleWorkout does not currently require an internet connection for its primary workout, nutrition, strength, or tracking features.

The app may provide links to external websites, such as this Privacy Policy or a support page. Opening those links will use your device's web browser, and the destination website may have its own privacy practices.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if SimpleWorkout's features, data practices, or legal requirements change.

If the app begins using services that collect or transmit user information in the future, this Privacy Policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures will be updated accordingly.

The current version of this Privacy Policy will be made available through SimpleWorkout and at the Privacy Policy URL listed on the App Store.
